Topic: The Importance of Words! Building Educational Success Through Dialogue and Literacy
The quality and the quantity of words children hear from Birth to 3 years of age is directly linked to academic achievement. Language exposure through dialogue and literacy in the early years in essential for your child’s education success. In this workshop, parents, guardians and adults will
learn the direct correlation between the amount of words a child hears and interacts with and educational success, how “Parent Talk” and engagement influence a child’s academic success, will outline three basic elements of how to interact with their children and describe strategies and provide examples on how to successfully engage your child during play.
